Assuming that you are travelling to Kyoto you have to book a room here. The hotel is renovated and the guest rooms are pretty clean. Also a very good vibes.

The booking method is surprisingly easy and intuitive, the hotel and restaurant services is excellent, incredibly attentive and helpful, the hotel is renovated as well as rooms are really thoroughly clean.

This hotel was truly centrally positioned and the staff from the reception were there at all the hrs. The beds ended up comfortable and the other guests were being usually respectful with everyone so the atmosphere was ok.The air con was on and off, but they fix it. Pretty awesome hotel and terrific location. Undoubtedly recommend Gion Hatanaka!

I have stayed for two days with my fiance. Beds were big enough and the space was constantly clean. Staff members have been pretty useful and friendly and constantly made us feel welcome. Rooms are large and the closet. The bathroom was also very clean plus the shower was fantastic. Not an incredibly social hotel anyway, maybe was during our stay.
